"Los Altos - 60 Years From Now" Essay Contest

History Tree upstairs at the Los Altos History Museum.
This year's annual Margaret Thompson Historical Essay Contest for third- through sixth-graders, inspires students to envision Los Altos' next 60 years!
• What will it look like?
• What will you do there?
• Describe what it would be like to visit this place.
• Paint a picture with words.
• Be creative and use your imagination.
• Draw a picture, if you wish, to accompany your essay.
Essays should be 300 words or less and turned in to the student’s teacher by March 9, 2012. The Historical Commission will select three winners per grade level and award cash prizes: $50 for first place, $30 for second and $20 for third.
